Beginning Sign Language
Do you have a desire to communicate with people who are hard of hearing or deaf? Would you like to be able to communicate with them comfortably? This class is designed to teach sign language to the hearing population. This is a relaxed, informal class that uses your classmates to practice, and humor to learn.
This fall we will offering an introductory and intermediate course designed for the foundation skills necessary for basic competency. By the end of the courses you should be able to “sign” your life away!
Students will learn the alphabet, family references, home locations, clothing, colors, food, and eating. Class will use group practice to reinforce learned motions.
