The Price of Privilege in Paradise

This is a cultural sensitivity class about the disconnect in the fabric of our community. We all pay the price, so is it worth it?

Where are we blinded? Where do we intersect? Where are our boundaries? Where do we go from here and how do we support each other?

The instructors’ intent is to educate regarding institutionalized racism, it’s history and it’s destructive results in our community and globally. While Hawaiians have suffered the direct effects, non-Hawaiians and newcomers catch the fallout as well. We all suffer.

Come join us for a positive discussion and explore ways that we can learn from, support each other, and increase our level of awareness in creating a new structure.
