Microsoft Excel 201 (Intermediate)

Building on the lessons learned in Excel 101, this class focuses more on learning some key functions and utilizing some of Excel’s powerful data management abilities. The ability to construct a basic formula is a Pre-Requisite for this class but it is strongly advised that all students be at least familiar with the topics outlined in Excel 101.

Topics to be covered are:

Ø Creating and working with Names

Ø Filtering & Sorting Data

Ø Validation & creating Drop Down Lists

Ø Protection and Security Features

Ø Customizing and creating Toolbars

Ø Linking data

Ø Essential Functions: IF, VLOOKUP & HLOOKUP, SUBTOTAL, some Data & Text functions
