Beginning Adult Ukulele
If you have always wanted to learn the ukulele, but thought you couldn’t, this is the class for you! Those with no previous experience are encouraged to join this simple course. So, take that uke out of the closet, and let’s start playing! The emphasis is on having fun. By using a song oriented approach you will learn basic chords and strums.
Please bring a basic learner ukulele (these can be purchased for $50-$60 at local music stores), a binder for music sheets, and of course, the desire to have fun!
The maximum enrollment for this class is 12.

Adult Ukulele 2
Getting a little bored with your ukulele playing or feel like you need some more instruction? This class is intended for anyone who has some ukulele experience. You do not have to be too far advanced – just some beginning knowledge is helpful.
This class will cover picking, chords in different keys, as well as various strums. Some basic knowledge of chords, strumming and tuning is helpful to be in this class.

Private Guitar lessons - Ongoing year-round
Trained in 1970, Teacher/Songwriter/Author Fletcher Epperson has been giving classroom and private guitar instruction since 1972 and is author of the Internationally selling book, “Guitar Logic: Patterns For Creative Expression.”
Inspired by the integration of the Blues into the Western musical system and its creative potential within Jazz, Rock & Country, Fletcher looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience of the guitar with you.
Fletcher is currently providing private lessons at Hilo Guitars & Ukuleles music store and private guitar instruction at Waimea Community Education on Sundays.
